Don't Forget to Check In & Pick Up Your Event Wristband!

Visit our information booths to check in and grab your Triton Days wristband. This wristband helps UC San Diego staff identify your school year and provide you with the relevant school resources.

Start your on-campus visit by attending one of our three kick-off sessions. These sessions are designed to guide you on how to make the most of your time here at UC San Diego and immerse yourself in the Triton spirit.


First-Year Welcome Celebration:

  • 8:15 a.m.
  • 9:00 a.m.
  • 9:45 a.m.

Transfer Overview:

  • 9:00 a.m.
  • 10:30 a.m.
  • 12:00 p.m.

Prepare for the Day

For an optimal experience, we recommend bringing:

  • A reusable water bottle. Hydration stations are available across campus.
  • Comfortable attire and walking shoes (our campus is expansive!).
  • Appropriate clothing for the event's weather, whether rain or shine.

Where to Park

Arriving at UC San Diego: Anticipate heavy traffic, please plan accordingly to ensure you arrive on time to attend any sessions that interest you. Exit I-5 at Genesee. Upon parking, take a moment to remember your location.

Primary Parking Options: Recommended parking lots are provided below for your convenience, situated nearest to the event's recommended starting point.

If primary lots are full, follow signage to the next available parking.

 

Taking the Trolley

Avoid Traffic - Go Green: Take the Blue Line Trolley or a ride-share to UC San Diego. See public transit options and plan your journey by checking MTS schedules.

For convenient parking, we recommend La Jolla Village Square Driveway Trolley Station (Nobel Drive exit). From there, you can hop on the trolley to the UC San Diego Central Campus station stop, providing direct access to our event.
